Placskó István 1806 - 1855

He was an Evangelical priest. He was the member of the delegation who travelled to Budapest to take the document there which contained the statement that the town supported the revolution. On 26th March 1848 during the church service he held a very effective speech about the freedom. This speech caused a great stir all over the country.
