Dr. Csicsely Mihály 1900 - 1981

He graduated as a teacher of Geography and Natural History in Budapest but later he changed his profession and he became the student at Academy of Law in Miskolc. After graduating from Academy of Law he opened a lawyer’s office in Szarvas. He became an active member of the Independent Smallholders’ Party. He protected his clients in the Kulak cases. In 1956 he was invited to a communal forum. The permanent troubling and house searches began. He was arrested in February 1957 and he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He was granted amnesty in 1963.
