meeting at our school

The second meeting of our
school partnership took place at our school from 15th to 19th
April.
We were preparing for this
occasion for a long time because we wanted our guests to have a
really good time here.
The biggest group, 10
students and 5 teachers arrived from Slovakia, from Poland 3
students and
2 teachers, from Turkey 3
students and 3 teachers came to visit us. They all stayed in
comfortable rooms of our dormitory.
During the meeting we talked about our tasks of our project and
also we showed our guests round our school and nursery school.
We took them on a boat trip, showed them our beautiful Arboretum
and Tessedik Museum. Also we took them to Szeged and Ópusztaszer
to see some interesting facts about our history.
The students from our partner
schools were happy to meet our students and they had a really
good time together playing
and doing sports. They made friends, tried to communicate with
each other sometimes even with their hands and gestures. I think
our guests really enjoyed our children’s show, where some of our
talented students made this afternoon unforgettable. On Tuesday
evening our teachers’ staff had a project meeting with all our
guests, and some of our students were there, too. At the end of
this programme it was wonderful to see the children dancing
together.
It was a friendly meeting,
our students were sad to say goodbye to our guests. We are
looking
forward to the next meeting
in October in Ziebice in Poland.
